Empowering Apeejay students through industry interface

Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar recently organised an Industrial Visit  to Solitaire Infosys Pvt. Ltd. Around 54 enthusiastic students of B Tech (CSE), MCA and BCA visited the industry. They were accompanied by the faculty members Mr. Rohit Verma from the School of Information Technology and Mr. Naveen from the School of Engineering. 

The day started with Mr. Sandeep Saggu giving the students deep insights into the Services & Technologies that the organisation is currently working on and also how the websites are built and which platforms are used. He explained, “Different technologies used for web development like HTML, CSS, PHP, word press, ReactJs, Flutter, Mobile Applications, UX/UI Development, CRM services, Web Development, Digital Marketing, etc.”

The students were then given a presentation of the latest technologies and skills that are in demand in the industry and the Web 3.0 revolution. After the sessions were over students visited different office floors and explored various departments and how the people work there.

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC said, “Such experiences help bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application, inspiring students to stay ahead in the fast-evolving tech landscape.” Dr. Bagga also said that he believes that such Industrial Visits help in creating memories of fun and friendship amongst students.

Sharing his thoughts, a student said , “The industrial visit helped me gain real world experience. Such exposure helps in building skills relevant to be part of the job world.”
