Looking back at the Industry-Cum-Academic Orientation at Apeejay Institute of Mass
Communication (AIMC), one session that continues to resonate deeply with me was by Dr.
Sarvesh Tiwari, Founder & Managing Director of PR Professionals. What we expected to be an
introduction to the world of Public Relations turned into an inspiring conversation about life,
values, and the power of purposeful communication.

Dr. Tiwari’s approach to communication was refreshing and profound. He encouraged us to look beyond the conventional image of PR as event management or brand promotion and instead view it as a tool for social impact and transformation. He shared insights from his own professional journey, reminding us that the true essence of communication lies in building trust, fostering understanding, and creating change.

One of the most insightful moments of the session was the discussion on various case studies,
where Dr. Tiwari explained how effective communication helped turn the public into active
partners in building communication mobility. It was fascinating to see how strategic media
neutralisation and community trust-building could translate into tangible results a reminder that PR is as much about people as it is about perception.

He also spoke about the attitude that shapes success, the importance of resilience in both
professional and personal life, and how staying motivated in a fast-evolving industry defines
long-term growth. For many of us, his words served as a reminder that success is not just a
matter of strategy but of spirit and sincerity.

As students stepping into the world of media and communication, this session helped us realize that real communication goes beyond words it touches lives, nurtures relationships, and drives meaningful change. Dr. Tiwari’s journey reaffirmed a simple but powerful idea: when passion aligns with purpose, communication becomes not just a profession, but a way to make a difference.
