Organised by Global Sports, the high-intensity national-level tournament brought together some of the best school teams from across the country.
Among the standout participants were the Under-12 girls’ team from Apeejay School, Kharghar who dazzled spectators and competitors alike with their tactical gameplay, coordination, and unwavering determination. They played against strong teams from Mumbai, Bangalore, Aurangabad, and Goa in the league rounds, emerging unbeaten and confident. In the gripping final, they faced Vibgyor High School, Bangalore—a worthy opponent. The match was a nail-biting contest that had the audience glued to their seats till the last whistle. Apeejay Kharghat clinched the title, emerging as the Global Cup Champions in the U-12 category.

Not to be outdone, the Under-10 girls’ team from Apeejay also rose to the occasion with exceptional energy, skill, and confidence. Facing competitors including Vibgyor School, Airoli, and prominent local Goan schools, the team played with maturity and sharpness beyond their years. With consistent performances, they remained undefeated and went on to win the Global Cup in the U-10 category as well. Key players Dyuti Patil and Aaradhya were recognised for their standout efforts, each receiving the Best Player Award.
The twin victories are a resounding endorsement of the school’s commitment to nurturing talent not just in academics but also in sports. Behind this grand success lies months of focused training, strategic mentorship, and the encouragement of coaches, teachers, and parents who believed in the girls every step of the way.
