The festival of lights,
The festival of glee,
Where fun lasts not just for a flea
The moments in which
We thank the almighty 
With a plea of peace,
Let’s celebrate this Diwali,
By being jolly,
Not being “I” but together
Being “We”.
Let’s invite Maa Laxmi,
With the pearl like happy tears,
And the homes decorated
Like fruits on trees
On this Diwali we please,
Spread love with the sweet yummy cookies.
