The students from classes VI to VIII of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, participated in an enriching educational trip to the Museum of Illusions and the National Science Centre. The purpose of the excursion was to nurture curiosity, encourage creativity, and inspire scientific inquiry in young minds.
The journey began at the Museum of Illusions, a unique destination that captivates the students with its thought-provoking optical illusions and interactive exhibits. Students were thrilled to experience displays that played with perspective and perception, creating lively discussions and a deeper appreciation for the science behind the tricks. The mind-bending puzzles and visual effects left a lasting impression, encouraging students to think critically about how their brains interpret the world.
Sharing her experience, Sattvik Sarkar, a student of class VII, shared: “We visited the Museum of Illusions and the National Science Centre. It was an amazing experience! The interactive exhibits at the science centre helped us understand complex concepts in a fun way. The Museum of Illusions was mind-blowing, with its incredible optical illusions. We learnt a lot and had a blast. The trip was well-organized and our teachers made it even more enjoyable.”

A Refreshing Break
After an engaging morning, the group enjoyed a refreshing lunch. The students relished the opportunity to relax, share their thoughts, and refuel for the next exciting leg of the trip. Post lunch, the students headed to the National Science Centre, a hub of scientific knowledge and innovation.
The centre’s interactive exhibits offered hands-on learning experiences across various fields such as physics, chemistry, and biology. Students eagerly participated in activities that demonstrated principles of motion, energy, and life sciences.

One of the highlights was the technological displays, which showcased advancements in robotics and renewable energy. These exhibits not only sparked curiosity but also encouraged students to think about future career possibilities in the STEM fields.
Aarush Bansal had a similar experience. “We visited the Museum of Illusions and the National Science Centre. In the Museum, many illusions worked on me and my friends. We had a lot of fun. The best one was the one through which we had to walk through and made us imbalanced. The trip was well-organised. Looking forward to many other trips, the class VII student said.

Engaged and Enthusiastic Learners
Throughout the trip, the students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. They asked insightful questions, shared observations, and immersed themselves in the interactive experiences. Teachers accompanying the group noted how the trip successfully bridged classroom concepts with real-world applications.
Such educational trips underscore Apeejay School’s commitment to providing holistic learning experiences. By connecting theoretical knowledge with practical exposure, the school fosters an environment that encourages curiosity, innovation, and a lifelong love for learning.
