The cricket world is abuzz with the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, promising thrilling matches, historic moments, and intense rivalries. Held every two years, this edition is poised to be bigger and better than ever before, with several exciting developments and records to watch out for. Here’s a quick roundup of did you know of this electrifying tournament:

1. India’s Men in Blue enter the competition with a fervent desire to break a 17-year-long trophy drought at the ICC T20 World Cup.
2. Despite their prowess, India has faltered in recent T20 World Cups, notably losing the 2014 final to Sri Lanka and bowing out in the semi-finals of the 2022 edition against eventual champions England.
3. India kicked off their campaign against Ireland on June 5 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. The highly anticipated clash against arch-rivals Pakistan is scheduled for June 9, followed by a showdown with the USA.
4. Excitingly, the 2024 edition marks the expansion of the tournament to include 20 teams, up from 16 in the previous edition. This expansion is set to continue until 2030.
