An internship often marks the turning point when classroom theories meet corporate realities. For Navya Rajpal, her stint at Bikano was nothing short of transformative. From crafting creatives for Delhi Metro to understanding product differentiation, she gained practical exposure that deepened her passion for brand management and confirmed her dream of becoming a marketing leader.
Where did you complete your internship and what was your role?
I interned at Bikano, a part of Bikanerwala, as a Brand Management Intern. My major project involved co-branding the Shakurpur metro station with DMRC. Seeing the templates I created come alive at the station was one of the most exciting parts of my internship.
What kind of work did you do there?
I worked on creatives, memes, taglines, and even participated in meetings with external agencies. The hands-on exposure gave me a sense of how branding strategies come to life in real scenarios.
How did your learnings at ASM help you during the internship?
The skills I gained at ASM—like using Canva, integrating AI tools, and conducting market research—helped me immensely. Concepts we learned in class, like Net Promoter Score, were directly applied during my projects at Bikano.
What were your key takeaways from the internship?
I learned the difference between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The internship gave me confidence in my skills, from understanding product differentiation to creating campaigns that resonate with audiences.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I aspire to become the CEO of a marketing agency. My love for marketing has only grown stronger after this internship, and I see myself leading creative strategies that make a real impact.
