The Delhi University (DU) has launched its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for undergraduate (UG) admissions for the academic year 2024-25. This initiative aims to streamline the application process and provide a centralised platform for prospective students.
In a significant move to promote gender inclusivity, the university announced that single-child girl students will be eligible for enrolment in every course through supernumerary seats. This policy is part of DU’s ongoing efforts to encourage women education and provide equal opportunities for all students.
In addition to regular UG programmes, DU has also opened admissions for the School of Open Learning (SOL) and the Non-collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB). These options offer flexible learning opportunities for students who may not be able to attend full-time classes.
Admission to various courses will be based on scores from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for some programmes and class XII marks for others. This dual criterion ensures that a broad range of students can qualify for their desired courses.
Prospective students are encouraged to visit the CSAS portal to register and explore the available programmes. With these new measures, DU continues to uphold its commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering an inclusive academic environment.
