Delhi schools to remain closed till Jan 15 due to cold wave

According to an advisory from the Directorate Of Education, all private schools in the national capital have been asked to extend their winter break till January 15, 2023. This has come as Delhi recorded the lowest temperature of 1.9 degrees Celsius recently.

Most of the private schools in Delhi had winter vacations till January 8 and were scheduled to open tomorrow. However, practical exams, internal assessments and project works for CBSE Class 10, 12 board exam candidates will continue as per schedule.

Additionally, remedial sessions will be held during this time, according to the state government. Students in classes 9 through 12 should attend remedial sessions till January 14, 2023. Furthermore, schools are closed for all students except for those appearing for board examinations.
