CUET UG 2025 provisional answer key released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the provisional answer key for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the answer key on the official website — cuet.nta.nic.in.

The CUET UG 2025 was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from May 13 to June 4, across various centers in India and abroad. This year, a record 13,54,699 candidates registered for the exam, making it one of the largest national-level entrance tests.

To download the answer key, candidates need to:

  1. Visit the official NTA CUET website
  2. Navigate to the “Candidate Activity” section
  3. Click on the “CUET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key” link
  4. Log in using their application number and date of birth
  5. Download and save the PDF for future reference

Importantly, the NTA has opened a window for objections, allowing candidates to challenge any discrepancies in the provisional answer key. The deadline to raise objections is 11 pm on June 20, 2025. A non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question is applicable for each objection raised. Objections submitted without the requisite payment will not be considered.

The raised objections will be reviewed by a panel of subject experts. If a challenge is found valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly. This revised key will form the basis for evaluating all candidates’ responses. The final result will be declared based on this updated key; however, the exact date for the CUET UG 2025 result announcement is yet to be confirmed.

Candidates are advised to check the NTA website regularly for further updates.
