The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the duration of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG examination will be extended by a minimum of four days in select cities to accommodate the significantly higher number of candidates. The second edition of the exams, initially scheduled from May 21-31, will now encompass June 1-2 and June 5-6, with June 7 and 8 kept as reserve days, as per an official notice by NTA.
The NTA will subsequently release City Intimation Slips for these additional days to inform candidates of their allotted examination centers. Sadhana Parashar, Senior Director (Exams) at NTA further emphasised that these Slips should not be confused with the admit card. They only serve as advance intimation, notifying candidates of their designated examination city to facilitate necessary arrangements.
Admit cards will be issued separately at a later date, clarified Parashar.
