The Central Board of Secondary Education is set to announce the CTET Result 2026 shortly, bringing relief to over 25 lakh candidates who appeared for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test this year. The results will be released on the official website, ctet.nic.in, once the board completes its review of objections to the provisional answer key.

As per past trends, CTET results are typically declared within four to six weeks of the exam. Accordingly, the 2026 results are expected to be announced by the end of March or early April, although an official confirmation of the exact date is still pending.

To qualify, candidates from the general category must secure a minimum of 90 marks out of 150, equivalent to 60 per cent. Candidates belonging to reserved categories, including OBC, SC, and ST, are required to score at least 82 marks, or 55 per cent, as per the relaxed criteria.

Once declared, candidates can access their scorecards by visiting the website, entering their roll number, and downloading the result for future reference. Qualified candidates will also be able to access their marksheets and eligibility certificates through DigiLocker, ensuring easy and secure digital verification.

While qualifying for CTET does not guarantee a job, it is a mandatory requirement for applying to teaching positions in government schools. With lifetime validity now granted to the CTET certificate, candidates can use their qualification for future recruitment drives without the need to retake the exam.
