
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the provisional Answer Key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 July edition this week on the official website, ctet.nic.in. Media reports suggest that the CTET 2024 July answer key will be available by July 25, though the CBSE has not yet confirmed the exact date and time.
Once released, candidates can download the answer key for Paper I and Paper II by logging in with their Registration Number and Date of Birth. The result for CTET July 2024 is tentatively scheduled for release by the end of August 2024.
Steps to Check Provisional Answer Key:
- 1. Visit the official CBSE CTET website at ctet.nic.in.
- 2. Click on the CTET Answer Key 2024 link on the homepage.
- 3. Enter your Registration Number and DOB.
- 4. Submit the details.
- 5. The Answer Key will be displayed in a new window.
- 6. Review the answers and download the PDF for reference.
CTET July 2024 Marking Scheme and Qualifying Marks: Each correct answer in Paper I and Paper II earns one mark with no negative marking for incorrect answers. According to the NCTE notification, scoring 60% or more in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) exam qualifies a candidate as TET pass.
Re-checking/Re-evaluation Policy: The CBSE will not entertain any requests for re-evaluation or re-checking of results, as stated in their notification.
Certificate Validity and Applicability: The CTET qualifying certificate is valid for a lifetime for all categories, with no limit on the number of attempts a person can take to acquire it. CTET is applicable to schools under the Central Government, schools under UTs, and unaided private schools that opt to consider it. The exam is mandatory for eligibility to become a teacher as per the Right to Education Act (RTE).
