A final-year student in her eighth semester, Vasudha has already made her mark as a part-time Graphic Designer at Ambassadeur Francophone. When did you first discover your interest in graphic design?
I was introduced to graphic design during my school years when we had computer studies as part of our curriculum. Learning software like Flash, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW sparked my curiosity, and I started participating in inter-house and inter-school design competitions. Winning those competitions motivated me to pursue design more seriously.
How has your journey at Apeejay Stya University shaped your skills?
Apeejay Stya University provided me with structured learning and industry exposure. Here, I learned about the principles of design, creative processes, and the technical skills required in the professional world. The hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and real-world projects played a crucial role in refining my skills.
How did you secure an opportunity at Ambassadeur Francophone?
I have always been proactive in finding opportunities, and LinkedIn was instrumental in helping me connect with potential employers. I consistently applied to internships that aligned with my skills and interests. Through this process, I landed my current role at Ambassadeur Francophone, where I create visual content for their social media and branding.
