With unwavering determination, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri’s Class XII toppers raise the bar of academic excellence
CBSE has announced the much-awaited results, bringing immense joy and pride to schools and students alike. Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, especially celebrates the outstanding achievements of its Class XII students who have truly excelled and made the school proud.
Let’s read about the school toppers’ journey and the key to impeccable results..
The topper, Khushi, achieved 95.8% proudly shared how happy her parents and she were with the results. “I enjoy Accountancy and Mathematics. I scored full marks in Accountancy and 98 in Mathematics,” she said. “One key reason for my performance was that I paid close attention in class, stayed regular with school, and always asked questions when in doubt. Especially in Accountancy, I focused on understanding the concepts rather than just cramming. I wanted to know why a rule was applied, not just how, and that made a big difference in my learning.”
Exam stress was manageable because it reminded her to stay focused and consistent with my studies. “My hobbies, like dancing, being creative, and travelling, also helped me stay refreshed and balanced. Right now, I’m preparing for the CUET exam and aim to study at Delhi University,” she stated.
Sakshi, a student of the Commerce stream who scored 93.8%, shared, “I’m really happy to share that I scored a centum in Business Studies and 97 in Accountancy. It was a big achievement for me, especially since I initially found Accounts quite challenging. But our teachers for both Accountancy and Business Studies played a major role in my success. I made it a point to listen attentively in class, make detailed notes, and revise them regularly at home. For Accounts, consistent practice, solving questions and completing all the homework helped build my confidence.
“The school played a crucial role in my preparation. The regular assignments, academic discipline, and encouragement from senior teachers pushed me to stay consistent and focused. At present, I’m preparing for CLAT and aiming to get admission into one of the top law colleges NLU. Lastly, I’d like to share a few tips with my juniors: Practice regularly, especially Accounts and Business Studies throughout the year. Second, don’t underestimate case studies in Business Studies. They can be tricky, so practice a variety of them. Third, stay consistent, make proper notes, and revise regularly,” she advised.
Chahak Bansal secured 93.4% in Commerce mentions, “I scored 96 in Accountancy, and I’ve always genuinely enjoyed studying the subject. I used to follow a structured plan — studying on alternate days, covering all four core subjects: Accounts, Business Studies, Math, and Economics. Closer to the Boards, I became more focused and started studying based on the upcoming exam schedule. I made sure to balance one practical and one theoretical subject each day.
When it comes to exam stress, there were moments when she hit a saturation point, especially while solving sample papers. Some questions went wrong, even in mock tests, and it would get frustrating. “But during those times, I reminded myself of the progress I had already made and motivated myself to give 100% in what was left. This mindset helped me push through. I made it a habit to learn from my mistakes during practice so that I wouldn’t repeat them in the actual exams. That approach made a big difference. I plan to get admission into the University of Delhi and pursue BCom (Hons),” she said.
Her advice to juniors is simple. “I’d like to give this advice: Start your preparation early and stay thorough with your concepts in all subjects, including English, and you must practice Accounts regularly. Even missing one day can break your flow and affect your understanding,” she said in conclusion.
