Two scholar badge holders from Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, emphasise consistency and attentiveness in class for exam success

Recognising student achievements in India motivates excellence and inspires peers to aim higher. It boosts self-confidence, validating efforts and enhancing self-worth. Such acknowledgements encourage students to believe in their potential and strive harder. Beyond motivation, it provides access to scholarships, advanced studies, and career opportunities, serving as a foundation for future success. Hence, Apeejay Education celebrates achievements that not only uplift students but also foster a culture of perseverance and ambition, empowering them to pursue their dreams with renewed enthusiasm and determination.
Meet two such students — Haniksha and Sunidhi, students of class VIII at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri — who are scholar badges for their exceptional results in class VII.

The scholar badge for her performance in class VII is a reflection of her hard work, passion, and dedication. “I approach my studies with sincerity and punctuality, ensuring that I stay consistent in my efforts. I don’t believe in cramming or last-minute preparation. Instead, I follow a simple strategy: Revise everything we cover in class as soon as I return home and continue periodic revisions. This habit helps me stay prepared and prevents any burden during exam time,” Haniksha said.
The support she received from her teachers has been phenomenal, she shared. “They address my doubts instantly, never delaying their guidance or saying, ‘We’ll do it tomorrow’. This proactive approach ensures that I am always on the right track. My parents have been equally supportive, providing me with all the resources I need and motivating me every step of the way. Their encouragement has been instrumental in my success, the scholar badge recipient stated.
“If I were to offer advice to my peers, especially those preparing for exams, I would emphasise the importance of starting early and being consistent. Don’t wait until the last minute to begin studying. Hard work, coupled with regular efforts, is the key to success. This way, you can avoid unnecessary stress and approach exams with confidence,” the class VIII student said and added that for her, success is the culmination of persistent hard work and dedication.
“It represents a dream fulfilled and a significant milestone in one’s life. It’s not just about achieving goals but also about the journey of working toward them with passion and commitment,” Haniksha said.

Sunidhi, the proud scholar badge holder, shared that achieving this badge was a moment of immense pride and joy for her. “When I scored 96.1% in my last class, I knew that I was eligible for the scholar badge since our school awards it to students scoring above 95%. The anticipation itself was motivating, but when the announcement came in October, it felt even more special. I was filled with excitement, confidence, and a renewed sense of motivation to keep performing well,” the class VIII student said.
The secret of her success lies in her consistency and the unwavering support she received from my teachers, parents, and peers. “For me, studying has never felt like a burden. I’ve always balanced my academics with extracurricular activities and personal interests, which keeps me energised and focused. My good result reflects not just my hard work but also the strategies I follow to stay ahead. I ensure that I listen attentively in class, complete my classwork on time, and prepare consistently for periodic tests. This method makes preparing for final exams smooth and stress-free,” she stated, who wants to pursue medicine.
“Managing distractions is another essential aspect of my approach. While I love playing and watching movies, I believe in scheduling my time effectively. Everything has its place. For instance, if I dedicate two hours to studying, I make sure I am fully focused and avoid all distractions during that time. Discipline and balance are key to achieving my goals,” Sunidhi said in conclusion.
