How did you feel when you got the news of placement? What is the position you are joining?
When I received the news that I had been placed in “The Learning Routes Pvt. Ltd.”, I was extremely happy. Being chosen on my very first try was unexpected and thrilling as it was my first interview ever. To be honest, I was not expected to be chosen so quickly. I had gone there primarily to get exposure and learn how the interview process works. And getting selected was just the cherry on the top.
I think that launching a career in sales will be highly beneficial for me, and I will be joining as a Sales Executive. It will boost my self-esteem, build better communication skills, and fortify my character and personality in general.
How did you prepare for the placement? How did your teachers at Apeejay help you pass the process?
I didn’t prepare anything very extensive. I just read about the company’s background and understood what the organisation does. I decided to go with a free and open mind without overthinking, and I believe that helped me stay calm and composed, which probably played a vital role in my selection.
The teachers at Apeejay also played a major role in my preparation. They guided me on the types of questions asked in placements, helped in making my resume look appealing to the organization and continuously motivated me. Their feedback helped me avoid common mistakes during the actual interview.

What according to you is important when going for a job interview?
According to me three things are really important and that is clarity, communication and professionalism. The clarity about the company as what they do and what would be the role you would be playing in that company. You should have good communication skills, You should answer all the questions very confidently and there is no need for any exaggeration.
Professionalism is very important as you should dress well, maintain body language and show respect to the interviewer and show seriousness towards the opportunity you have gotten.
Tips to stay calm during placement interviews.
· Take a few deep breaths before answering. Remind yourself that the company is looking for suitable candidates, you are not the one who is begging for the job. This mindset helps reduce panic and keeps you confident.
· When you enter the place you should go inside with a big smile as it will reduce stress.
· You should think of that interview as you are having a conversation with somebody rather than thinking that you are giving some sort of exam.
· If you don’t know the answer to a question, politely say so instead of giving a random or incorrect guess. Honesty leaves a better impression rather than taking a wild guess.
