Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, witnessed a remarkable celebration of its Annual Appreciation Day, Abhijit-2.0. The function was a true reflection of the school’s values of academic excellence, cultural diversity, and student achievement. The event, held with great enthusiasm and joy, was graced by the esteemed Ms Jashandeep Kaur, Provident Fund Commissioner II, Jalandhar, who honoured the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The celebration began with a warm and heartfelt welcome, as the attendees were invited to witness a memorable day of appreciation, reflection, and admiration. The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, a revered tradition symbolising the dawn of knowledge, enlightenment, and positivity. This ritual set the tone for the rest of the event, marking the beginning of a day filled with gratitude and pride.


A particularly special moment during the event was the presentation titled “Journey of a Leader,” a tribute to the inspiring legacy of Dr Stya Paul, Founder-Chairman, Apeejay Stya Group & Apeejay Education. The thought-provoking presentation captured the essence of Dr Stya Paul’s vision, highlighting his contributions to education and his relentless pursuit of excellence, which continues to inspire students and faculty alike.
Following this, the school Principal, Ms Sangeeta Nistandra, delivered the Annual Report, providing a comprehensive overview of the school’s achievements over the year. Her speech emphasised the school’s dedication to nurturing the intellectual, emotional, and physical development of its students. She highlighted the academic excellence, sporting achievements, and cultural endeavours that define the Apeejay Education spirit, underscoring how the theme of the event connected to the school’s vision of holistic growth for every child.

The heart of the event lay in the vibrant cultural performances that brought the stage to life. A wide array of dances, each telling its own unique story, left the audience mesmerised. The Smile Dance, with its infectious joy and energy, radiated positivity, setting a cheerful tone for the celebrations. The Mahakali Dance, powerful and devotional, embodied strength and energy, capturing the audience’s attention with its intensity. Meanwhile, the Flower Dance, graceful and serene, paid tribute to the beauty of nature, enchanting the crowd with its elegance.
Moving on, The Umbrella Dance followed, adding a burst of colour and rhythm to the proceedings, with the lively performance captivating everyone present. The Sufi Dance, with its deep spiritual significance, evoked a sense of tranquillity and reverence, while the Mexican Dance infused the event with a lively global flair, reflecting the diversity of the school community.
As the cultural performances concluded, the stage was set for the prize distribution ceremony. This momentous occasion celebrated the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of students who excelled in academics, sports, and various other fields. Academic achievers, sports champions, and meritorious students were all honoured for their exceptional contributions. The recognition was a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering talent and encouraging excellence in all areas of student life.










The event culminated with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, guests, teachers, and students who made the event a grand success. The final performance, Virasat De Rang, beautifully showcased the rich cultural heritage of Punjab, leaving the audience in awe. The celebration ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, filling everyone with a deep sense of unity, pride, and reverence for the nation.
