A vibrant celebration blending national pride with the spirit of learning at Apeejay School, Tanda Road

Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar celebrated Republic Day with immense pride and patriotic fervour, beautifully blended with the auspicious festivities of Vasant Panchami. The vibrant celebration reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing national values while fostering cultural awareness among young learners. 

The programme commenced on a joyful note with a lively kindergarten dance performance that instantly set an enthusiastic tone for the day. This was followed by a thoughtful speech on the significance of Republic Day, which helped students understand the importance of the Indian Constitution and the responsibilities of being responsible citizens. A specially curated video presentation further enriched the celebration by highlighting the historical journey and democratic values of the nation, making the learning experience both engaging and meaningful.

The atmosphere was filled with patriotic zeal as students presented a soul-stirring patriotic song, followed by an energetic patriotic dance performance. These heartfelt presentations resonated with the spirit of unity, sacrifice, and pride, leaving the audience inspired and emotionally connected to the nation.

Adding depth to the celebration, the Incharge, Ms Simranjit Kaur, addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech. She emphasised the significance of Republic Day, encouraging students to uphold constitutional values like equality, integrity, and respect in their daily lives. The programme concluded on a dignified note with the singing of the National Anthem, instilling a sense of respect and patriotism among all present.

Alongside Republic Day, the school also celebrated Vasant Panchami with devotion and enthusiasm. The campus was adorned in shades of yellow as children came dressed in yellow attire and brought yellow-coloured food, symbolising positivity, wisdom, and new beginnings. A special Saraswati puja was performed to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge, learning, and wisdom.

The combined celebration of Republic Day and Vasant Panchami at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, served as a meaningful reminder of India’s rich cultural heritage and democratic ideals, leaving students with a sense of pride, gratitude, and reverence for knowledge and the nation.
