CODE Club Installation Ceremony Celebrates Student Leadership and Tech Excellence at Apeejay School, Noida
New office bearers assume charge as school honours inter-school achievements and innovation.

Apeejay School, Noida organised the CODE Club Installation Ceremony recently, marking a significant milestone in the school’s journey of nurturing student-led innovation and technological excellence. Held in the school auditorium, the ceremony brought together students of Classes IX and XI, teachers and school leadership to formally install the newly appointed office bearers of the CODE Club and celebrate the club’s remarkable inter-school achievements.
The event was organised by the Computer Science Department and was presided over by Dr Neha Sharma, Principal, Apeejay School, Noida, Ms Puneeta Bhasin, Vice Principal, and Mr Jatin Hasija, Senior Academic Coordinator. With 55 active members across multiple verticals, the CODE Club continues to be one of the school’s most dynamic student-driven platforms, fostering creativity, collaboration and hands-on learning in the field of technology.
Celebrating Inter-School Achievements
The ceremony commenced on a celebratory note as the Principal, Vice Principal and Senior Academic Coordinator felicitated CODE Club members for their outstanding performances in various inter-school competitions held across the NCR region. The achievements reflected months of dedication, teamwork and technical rigour, underscoring the club’s strong culture of excellence.
Students of the CODE Club secured top positions in a wide range of events, including cryptography, app innovation, robotics, gaming, design, photography and problem-solving challenges, at competitions hosted by reputed schools such as DPS RK Puram, DPS Noida and FR. Angel School. Among the highlights were overall championship titles, runners-up trophies and several first, second and third positions across senior and junior categories.
The felicitation segment not only recognised individual brilliance but also highlighted the collective spirit of the CODE Club, where peer learning, mentorship and collaboration play a central role.
A Vision for Student-Led Clubs

Addressing the gathering, Dr Neha Sharma, Principal, Apeejay School, Noida, spoke about the evolution of the CODE Club and the growing importance of student-led initiatives within the school ecosystem. Reflecting on the journey of the club, she said, “We are proud of our CODE Club, but just like Rome was not built in a day, the CODE Club too has taken time to reach this position of excellence.”
Highlighting the growing emphasis on student ownership, she added, “Student-led clubs give learners responsibility, purpose and visibility. When students have a structured plan and work collectively, their learning truly comes alive.”
Encouraging students to actively contribute to their chosen clubs, Dr Sharma remarked, “A club shines only when its members are involved, committed and willing to add value. Planning, consistency and teamwork are the keys to success.”
Installation of Office Bearers
Following the address, the formal installation of the CODE Club office bearers for the session took place. The Presidents, Vice Presidents and members heading various verticals were conferred badges and certificates by the school leadership, symbolising trust, responsibility and leadership.

The installation included the appointment of student leaders across the CODE Club’s diverse domains, including Programming, App Development, Designing, Gaming, Cyber, Robotics and other specialised departments. Badges and certificates were also presented to the CODE Directors, Secretaries, Senior Executives, Cyber Guardians and members of the Robotics Club, acknowledging the structured leadership framework that enables the club to function efficiently.
A group photograph captured the newly installed team, marking the beginning of a new phase of student-led technological initiatives at the school.
Oath-Taking Ceremony
One of the most solemn moments of the ceremony was the administration of the oath by the Principal. The newly elected office bearers pledged:
“I TAKE A PLEDGE TO DO MY BEST; TO FULFILL MY DUTIES TOWARDS MY CLUB AND MY SCHOOL; TO OBEY AND FOLLOW THE ETHICS OF CODE, TO FOLLOW THE PATH TO TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE TO ASSIST YOUNG TECHNOCRATS AT ALL TIMES AND TO LIVE UP TO MY CLUB’S MOTTO: VENI. VEDI. VICI.”
The oath-taking underscored the values of integrity, responsibility and service that form the foundation of the CODE Club’s ethos.
Student Voice: Passing the Baton

Sharing his reflections, Abhiroop Kapoor of Class XII A, President of the CODE Club, delivered an emotionally resonant address, tracing his journey with the school and the club over the years. Expressing gratitude and nostalgia, he said, “I have been a part of this school for seven years, but more importantly, it has been a part of me. Four of those years belong to CODE, and they shaped who I am today.”
Encouraging younger students to pursue their passions fearlessly, he added, “To fly is to be free. Never forget what makes you fly, because when you begin to take flight, you empower others to do the same.”
Concluding his address, Abhiroop remarked, “I now pass the baton to the future generation to keep the spirit of CODE alive. Veni, Vidi, Vvici — I came, I saw, I conquered.”
Robotics Club Perspective
Adding to the student narrative, Yashraj Bhardwaj, President of the Robotics Club, shared insights from his journey that began as a curious middle school student and evolved into a leadership role. Reflecting on his growth, he said, “What started as curiosity in middle school eventually became a journey of learning, challenges and leadership that shaped my confidence and skills.”
Acknowledging the support system behind the club’s success, he added, “The trust and guidance of our teachers and school leadership allowed us to experiment, mentor juniors and take ownership of large-scale technical events.”






Legacy of the CODE Club
The ceremony reflected on the rich legacy of the CODE Club, which began in the late 1990s with a small group of passionate students and has since grown into a multi-disciplinary platform encompassing programming, robotics, design, app development, gaming, media creation and more. Over the decades, the club has consistently promoted hands-on learning, innovation and community engagement, celebrating over 25 years of sustained impact.
