Can you share how you felt when you achieved this milestone?
I felt very happy. My parents were also proud. They told me to keep practicing and aim for the state level next.
What excites you the most about the triathlon—running, cycling, or swimming?
Running is my favourite. I enjoy it the most and focus on it during the triathlon.

Could you tell us more about the events you participated in?
The triathlon had three parts – 60m sprint, long jump, and a 600m run. I took part in running and long jump, and that’s how I won the gold.
Where do you usually practice for your events?
I practice at the stadium. But during rainy days, practice becomes difficult. Still, I try to maintain consistency.
How do you build stamina and energy for running?
Eating healthy food is important. I eat green vegetables, fruits, chapati, and dry fruits. These give me the energy to run long distances.
What challenges do you face during competitions?
The toughest challenge is the competition itself. There are many good runners, and it pushes me to work harder.
What is your next goal after this gold medal?
I want to represent at the state level and keep improving my performance.
Lastly, what advice would you give to your friends who also want to pursue running?
I would say practice hard, eat healthy, and stay focused. If you follow discipline in training and diet, you can achieve success.
