Chocolate, Bread, Dessert: A yummy lesson at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar

What is life if not with a tinge of sweetness. Our ancient traditions and elders still emphasize on having something sweet before heading out for an important task. And the new generation knows chocolate before anything.

Be it in mithais, modern recipes and dishes, chocolate is fast becoming a major ingredient. However, not only with a delicious taste, but consuming limited amounts of chocolate is also known to boost one’s health. And chocolate, already a hit item amongst kids, is also a great way to teach them essential life skills, such as cooking without fire. And that is exactly what Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar did.

The home science club at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, conducted an engaging activity, where students learned to create a simple yet delicious dessert: Chocolate Bread Dessert.

Emphasising healthy eating, the home science club students used atta bread, known for its nutritional benefits, as the base ingredient. The dessert was made even more delicious with the addition of Hershey’s chocolate syrup and choco chips, making it a hit among the students.The activity not only highlighted the versatility of everyday ingredients like bread but also encouraged students to explore creative ways to make healthy and delightful treats. The students thoroughly enjoyed the process and also the end result, which was both nutritious and delectable.
