Children’s creativity shines through artistic tribute to Smt Rajeshwari Paul

On the occasion of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul’s 101st birth anniversary, Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, GK-II, hosted the Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Performing & Visual Arts Day, a tribute to the revered ‘First Lady’ of Stya & Svran Group. The event celebrated her life and honoured her vision for integrating art into education.

Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, the beloved wife of Dr Stya Paul, Founder-Chairman, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, was known for her boundless compassion and deep appreciation for the arts. Her passion for art as a tool for holistic student development continues to shape the ethos of Apeejay schools today. During the event, the School Head, Ms Komal Nathani, led a floral tribute to Smt Rajeshwari Paul shared poignant reflections on her legacy. Ms Nathani reminded the gathering of the enduring impact Smt Rajeshwari had on the education system, particularly in the integration of arts into learning.

Children’s artistic homage

The event featured captivating performances by students, who expressed their creativity and admiration for Smt. Rajeshwari Paul through dance and art. Children from Nursery and Kindergarten presented a graceful classical dance performance, honouring the vision of a woman who deeply valued culture and artistic expression. Their elegant movements conveyed both respect and admiration for her lasting influence.

In addition to the dance performance, the youngest learners from Playsteps and Kids@Play showcased their artistic talents. Through playdough modelling and abstract art, these little ones created vibrant masterpieces as their tributes to Smt. Rajeshwari Paul. The simplicity and creativity of their work beautifully echoed the values she cherished: Creativity, expression, and the importance of fostering these qualities from an early age.
