“Nikal padho … rasta apna ap banta jaya ga”
My journey towards fulfilling my dreams began a year ago when I left my home town Kolkata. I come to Delhi for higher study at Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi.

Being a Bengali on the first day in Delhi, adopting the food culture is very challenging. By side, my PG days also began with meeting new people in the city to explore new places and enjoy an independent life. Apart from that some ups and downs happen every day sleeping with an empty stomach to worry about the future. I still remember those days in AIMC when I felt so isolated and by the side, next level competition started, rejection, egoism, partiality, group politics, etc. These are very natural when you want to do something big. Honestly, I feel it through the process.
From feeling isolated in the batch to winning the state-level award from a Lovely Professional University, in Punjab. Also back to back, I won two awards from Apeejay School of Management. But the journey did not become smooth after this. Even the journey becomes more difficult when placement starts. When my batch mates were placed at the same time I faced several rejections. Can u imagine the situation? Those days of my life were the hardest phase till now. At that time, I just prayed to my Ganpati Bappa and simultaneously started working to figure out the gap of my rejection. Days pass like at midnight 2:30 am I’m sitting in front of my Ganpati Bappa and praying “I trust you Bappa” and working very hard to sharpen my skills. Then one day the sunlight came into my life I got an offer letter from an MNC house, Iris WorldWide . That day I felt, God is the best designer”. That day is one of my best day in Delhi. This is how my Delhi Journey ends and the Gurgaon begins.
Coming from West Bengal, standing here in the capital of India would have been impossible without my family’s support. I’m very fortunate to have my father who is always with me, no matter what challenges I face. He is the biggest idol of my life. Aside from my family, there is my “Ma’am” her trust in my abilities was the driving force behind my every achievement. Thanks to God for giving me these “Ikigai”. Maybe I’m the luckiest one who can turn her passion into a profession. My dreams brought me into this city now by God’s grace I’m on the way to turning them into reality.
