Celebrating the core Rotaract ethos of fellowship through service

The Rotaract Club of Apeejay Stya University, Gurugram (RACASUG), under the sponsorship of the Rotary Club of Delhi Premier, hosted its grand annual installation ceremony titled “ZENITH: Rising Beyond Limits” at the university campus. The event served as a significant milestone, formally installing Rtr. Srishti Vashisth as the President of RACASUG along with her enthusiastic team for the 2025–26 Rotaract year. With an atmosphere filled with inspiration, commitment, and collective ambition, the ceremony celebrated the core Rotaract ethos of “Fellowship through Service.”

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Prof. Vijay Vir Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, whose address set a thoughtful and motivational tone for the event. He spoke about nurturing responsible leadership and encouraged students to adopt a purpose-driven approach toward community service and societal contribution. His words resonated deeply with the young Rotaractors preparing to embark on a year of impactful initiatives.

Adding to the event’s significance were distinguished Rotaract and Rotary dignitaries, including Rtn. Rtr. Archit Bhatia, District Rotaract Secretary, and Rtn. Kanika Madhok from the Rotary Club of Delhi Premier. Both guests commended the club’s efforts and motivated the newly installed team to uphold the spirit of service with dedication, innovation, and teamwork.

University leaders such as Prof. Sanjay Ahirwal, Dean of Student Welfare, and Dr. Vijay Kumar, Coordinator of RACASUG, also addressed the gathering. They expressed confidence in the capabilities of the student team and encouraged them to lead projects that would create a positive and lasting impact on society. Esteemed faculty members Prof. Ananda Padhan and Prof. M. S. Vyas further strengthened the occasion with their presence, applauding the commitment of students toward meaningful community engagement.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the pinning and oath-taking ritual, symbolising the official transition of responsibilities and the pledge to uphold Rotaract values. The formal proceedings were followed by vibrant cultural performances, inspiring speeches by student leaders, and enthusiastic participation from the audience, reflecting the vibrant spirit of the university community.

The event concluded with a sincere vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of dignitaries, faculty members, student volunteers, and attendees who came together to make “ZENITH: Rising Beyond Limits” a memorable success.
