Apeejay Svran Global School, Sector 21-D, Faridabad, recently held its prestigious Scholar Badge Ceremony to honor outstanding academic achievers from class 7. This first-of-its-kind annual event celebrated the dedication, hard work, and all-round excellence of students who excelled in academics, discipline, and extracurricular activities. Five exceptional students (now in class 8th) — Himanaya Luthra, Hridaan Mavi, Mansi Biloniya, Samarth Bhatia, and Sumona Bhardwaj — were awarded the Scholar Badge.
Himanaya Luthra:

Himanaya Luthra, now in class 8, expressed immense pride in being recognised. “It feels really good to be recognised at the Scholar Badge Ceremony,” she shared, adding that mathematics is her favorite subject because of the problem-solving challenges it presents. When asked about her inspirations, Himanaya pointed to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, highlighting his impact on young minds. One of the most exciting lessons Himanaya learned this year was about resilience: “You should never give up, no matter what others say.” If given a day to dive deep into a topic, she would choose human values. Her commitment to learning and moral development truly shines through his words, reflecting a well-rounded approach to education.
Mansi Biloniya:
For Mansi Biloniya, academic excellence is about giving her best in everything she does. “It’s not about being the topper but ensuring you give 100%,” she emphasised. Recalling a challenging moment during her class 7 finals, she shared how completing her math syllabus alone taught her the value of persistence. With her parents and teachers as her motivation, Mansi believes in learning from every experience. Her passion extends beyond academics. She has been learning Kathak for four years and actively participates in various sports and arts. “Extracurricular activities enrich our minds and keep us motivated,” she said, highlighting how these pursuits help her stay balanced and energised in her studies. Mansi’s advice to younger students? “Education is the most valuable treasure. Stay focused and keep trying.”
Hridaan Mavi:
Hridaan Mavi sees the Scholar Badge Ceremony as a significant recognition of hard work and the support he receives from family and teachers. Proud of his improved performance in challenging subjects, Hridaan views each achievement as a confidence boost. Looking forward, he hopes to explore science more deeply, especially the intricate relationships within ecosystems. His dedication to continuous learning is a testament to his commitment to personal and academic growth.

Samarth Bhatia:
Samarth Bhatia maintains motivation through clear goals and effective study strategies. His method involves tackling the most challenging subjects first, staying organised, and taking regular breaks. Extracurriculars play a key role in reinforcing lessons, reducing stress, and building confidence. Samarth emphasises balanced routines, combining study and play for holistic development. His advice to younger students is simple yet profound: “Don’t delay tasks. Manage time wisely and make learning fun.”
