Recently, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, participated in a unique and vibrant event —Prismatic-An Inclusivity Fest, hosted by Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar. The two-day fest served as a colourful celebration of diversity, creativity, and inclusive education, where students from across schools came together to share, learn, and express themselves.
Much like a prism that reflects many hues, the event aimed to highlight the unique strengths and talents of every individual. Representing Apeejay School were three enthusiastic students — Yana, Arabinda, and Kushagra, accompanied by Special Educator Ms Neha Sharma. Their participation added vibrancy and meaning to the fest’s core message of unity in diversity.
“The Inclusivity Fest offered enriching experiences beyond the classroom. Through creative workshops and performances, students discovered new strengths and formed meaningful connections with peers from diverse backgrounds. Their confidence and joy during the final showcase reflected the impact of an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. Such events not only nurture self-expression and belonging but also broaden perspectives. Our students returned with more than certificates — they came back with new friendships and a deeper understanding of the beauty of diversity,” Ms Sharma said.
Day One: Workshops that inspired
Each student participated in a different activity based on their interest. Yana joined a high-energy Bollywood dance workshop, where she showcased her rhythm and grace. Arabinda chose to be part of the Nukkad-natak, lending his voice to street theatre with a strong message. Meanwhile, Kushagra explored his creativity in the Sip and Paint session, creating colourful works of art.
These workshops were conducted by trained professionals and brought students together from different schools. This allowed them to bond over shared experiences and express themselves freely. At the same time, parents and educators were invited to a thoughtful Drama Therapy workshop, which helped them better understand children’s emotional needs and behaviour.

Day Two: Showcasing talent and inclusivity
The second day was all about performances and exhibitions. The students presented what they had learned through vibrant displays and energetic acts. The exhibition featured their creations from the workshops, adding a personal and colourful touch to the event. Impromptu performances by the participants were the highlight of the day, demonstrating their confidence, spontaneity, and creativity.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Ms Vedhita Reddy, IAS, who applauded the efforts of all participants. A certificate distribution ceremony followed, where the children were appreciated for their enthusiasm and involvement.
The participation in Prismatic helped Apeejay School students develop new skills while embracing diversity, fostering empathy, inclusion, and stronger communities.
