Students of Grade 4-A at Apeejay School, Saket recently celebrated cultural diversity through a special assembly titled “Cultural Diversity through Dance”. This engaging event aimed to educate students and the community about the importance of embracing different cultures while showcasing various traditional dances. As Dr. Sujeet Eric Masih, Principal of Apeejay School, Saket stated, “Nurturing future delegates of world order. Keep the flag soaring high!”
The assembly featured vibrant folk dances from India, including Bihu from Assam, Garba from Gujarat, and Ghoomar from Rajasthan. Additionally, students performed the Schuhplattler, a lively dance from Bavaria, Germany, enriching the assembly with a global perspective. Each performance highlighted the unique traditions and vibrant colors of the respective cultures, captivating the audience and fostering appreciation for cultural differences.
