Celebrating creativity and innovation at CODE 2024-25

The much-awaited annual Computer Symposium-CODE 2024-25 on the theme – Veni, Vidi, Vici was organised by Apeejay School, Noida, on October 7-8, 2024. More than 40 schools from Delhi-NCR, Meerut, and Bulandshahr participated in the competitions with immense enthusiasm during the two-day event. The symposium proved to be an excellent platform for students to present their technical acumen, creativity, and abilities to solve their problems by participating in a wide range of events.

The Chief Guest for the day was Dr Moin Uddin, Professor and Chair of Technical Research at Apeejay Stya University. Along with a distinguished panel of judges, his presence gave weight to the occasion. The Principal of Apeejay School, Noida received all the participants, judges, and Chief Guest with a warm welcome speech highlighting the importance of such events in promoting young talent.

The event was also graced by a distinguished panel of judges, comprising Mr Shivam Agarwal, Ms Raghavi Nagpaul, Mr Rahul Ghai, Mr Manoj Sharma, Dr Pawan Sitara, Mr Shaadwal Agrawal, Ms Anukriti Garg, Mr Rohan Khanna, Mr Abhishek Bhardwaj, Mr Alok Kumar Sinha, Mr Naresh Soni, Mr Manish Gurnani, and Ms Angel Walia. The illustrious alumni also attended the event, offering mentorship and guidance to the participants and contributing to the success of the programme.

The event featured a series of activities including Gaming, DCrypt, Chat Forge, Photography, Tux Paint, Quiz, Digital Imaging, Frame Fusion, Robowars, Pycode, Music Matrix, Ideathon, Group Discussion, and Scratch.

Speaking about the event, the team CODE 2024-25 of Apeejay School, Noida said, “The event was a great stepping stone towards technical excellence. Not only did the team manage to host over 500 participants and 40-plus schools but also expanded their knowledge bases on various computer fields like programming, AI, Robotics, and Design to name a few. We learnt the essence of management and express our gratitude to the Computer Department for guiding us.”

Inspiring Inaugural Ceremony

The inaugural ceremony began with an address by the Code President. This was followed by an auspicious lighting of the lamp and an invocation dance performance that lent the whole event an aura of enthusiasm and excitement. Addressing the participants, Dr Moin Uddin extended his congratulations to the young participants, acknowledging their emergence as the next generation of digital leaders.

The highlight of the event was Chat Forge where students created innovative chatbots. The high-energy Robowars had their share of intellectually stimulating Quiz, the ideation-driven Ideathon saw enthusiastic participation in every event.

Success Has Been Achieved Thanks to Hard Work End

A grand felicitation ceremony concluded the symposium. The Principal expressed her delight at the event’s success and thanked the participants, judges, and the alumni for their valuable contributions. The presence of the school’s alumni, who acted as mentors was another highlight of the event.

The event – CODE 2024-25 – was a testament to the commitment of Apeejay School, Noida towards building talent and encouraging excellence in technology.
