Celebrating a proud achievement

The band team of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, brought home laurels by winning the second prize in the Zonal Level Band Competition 2025 in the Boys’ Category. Competing against several schools from across the zone, the team’s victory was a proud moment for the school community.

Music, when paired with precision and coordination, requires discipline, focus, and unity. The school band displayed all three. Their performance reflected hours of rehearsals, the patience to learn from mistakes, and the determination to grow together.

“Taking part in the Zonal Band Competition was an unforgettable journey for me,” said Band Leader Shil Khan of Class XI. “From the day we started preparing, every practice session felt like a step towards something bigger. Performing on the stage with my bandmates was not just about playing music; it was about teamwork, trust, and supporting each other. Leading the band gave me a chance to grow in confidence, and this achievement will always remain one of the most special moments of my school life.”

“When the results were announced and our school was declared the second prize winner, I felt an overwhelming sense of joy and pride,” shared Hardev Pasvan of Class IX-C. “This achievement belongs equally to our teacher, who guided us patiently, and to our school, which constantly motivated and encouraged us. “Participating in the Zonal Band Competition was an experience I’ll cherish forever,” added Areeb Khan of Class IX-C. “Winning second prize was a dream come true. From the moment we started rehearsing, I knew we were working towards something special. As the bass drummer, I felt the rhythm and energy of the band pulsing through me. With our talent, teamwork, and dedication, I’m confident we’ll come back stronger and aim for the top spot next time.”
