CBSE to launch educational podcasts and digital programmes for students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rolled out a new initiative to create and share educational podcasts and digital content. These resources will cover important topics like academics, exams, counselling, and student well-being. They’ll be available on public platforms such as YouTube to ensure easy access for students, parents, and schools.
Bringing Student Voices Into the Spotlight
In a marked step toward more inclusive communication, CBSE is inviting Class IX to XII students to actively participate in these podcasts and social media content. Schools are asked to nominate confident and articulate students who might want to appear in short video/audio clips, testimonials, or candid conversations.
Participation is completely voluntary. It requires written consent from both the student and their parent or guardian, which must be submitted to CBSE through the school.
Schools have a 10-day window to send in the names and short profiles of nominated students via a Google Form. The process has started on August 28, 2025.
Why It Matters
By featuring real student perspectives, CBSE aims to make its content more relatable, engaging, and authentic. It’s a meaningful way to help students develop communication and digital literacy skills – key tools in today’s connected world.
This initiative also highlights CBSE’s commitment to evolving beyond traditional academic roles. Instead, it welcomes students to be active contributors to the board’s digital outreach, not merely recipients.
