The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be organising offline parenting workshops from September 4 to September 18, 2025, at several CBSE-affiliated schools across India. This initiative builds upon the earlier launch of the
Parenting Calendar 2025–26 and orientation sessions held in May and June.

Purpose & Importance of the Workshops

The main goal is to strengthen collaboration between parents and schools, making parents active participants in their children’s academic and emotional journey.

Key objectives include:

  • Providing parents with practical strategies to support their children’s academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Promoting positive parenting techniques, encouraging digital well-being, and fostering resilience in students.
  • Creating a supportive environment both at home and in school, and offering an interactive platform where parents, educators, and counselors can share experiences.

Registration Details

These workshops are primarily for principalscounselors, and wellness teachers from
CBSE-affiliated schools. As seats are limited, registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis through links shared in the official CBSE circular. Selected participants will receive confirmation via email.

Why This Matters

By offering hands-on workshops guided by experts, CBSE is reinforcing its commitment to holistic education. These sessions go beyond academic topics—covering emotional
well-being, resilience, and digital literacy—so that parents can better support their children in today’s complex world. Through this, the Board fosters a community-driven approach where parents and schools come together for student growth.
