CBSE single girl child scholarship 2025
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the registration process for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025 today, November 20. Eligible girl students who have not yet applied can complete the process through the official website, cbse.gov.in, before the deadline. The last date also applies to the verification of both fresh and renewal applications for the scholarship awarded to Class 10 girls in 2024.
The CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme aims to promote education among meritorious single girl children. The scheme supports Indian nationals who are the only child of their parents and are studying in Classes XI and XII in CBSE-affiliated schools. To qualify, the student must have scored 70% or above in the Class X CBSE Board exam, and the school’s monthly tuition fee should not exceed Rs 2,500. Additionally, applicants must come from families with an annual income of up to Rs 8 lakh.
Only those students who passed the CBSE Class X exam in 2025 will be considered under this cycle. The scholarship is designed to encourage academic excellence and ensure that financial constraints do not hinder the continued schooling of deserving girl students.

- Click on the Scholarship tab on the homepage.
- Select the link for Single Girl Child Scholarship – 2025.
- Enter the required credentials, including roll number and date of birth.
- Complete the application form and upload the necessary documents.
- Submit the application and download the confirmation page.
- Keep a printout for future reference.
