The month of May is indeed scorching hot. But the temperature rises many degrees higher with nervousness on the day of the CBSE Board Exam Result. After all, this day is the culmination of a student’s efforts throughout the academic year. Students hold their breath in anticipation before clicking on ‘Enter’ or ‘Submit’ as they check their result.
But the algorithm is simple. If the approach to studies is correct and the hard work of the teacher and the pupil is sincere, then an amazing result is the only outcome. And this has always been the case at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park. This year too the school keeps up with its tradition of excellence, as it adds new feathers to its cap in the CBSE Class 12 Result 2024.

Samridhi Gupta emerges as the school topper with an extraordinary 97.8%. The school topper, who is from the Commerce stream, attributes her success to a disciplined approach towards studies. She says, “I believe in consistency from day one. It is very important especially for subjects like Math and Accountancy. And for the theoretical subjects, I focused on conceptual clarity instead of rote learning.” Samridhi further mentions that regular revision and preparing detailed notes were key catalysts to her incredible result.
Samridhi goes on to credit her school teachers for playing a vital part in her success. She asserts, “My teachers were extremely supportive throughout the year. Be it solving doubts or motivating us to perform better. They provided us students with all the required study material for effective preparation.”
And finally on managing exam stress, the school topper exclaims, “Exam stress is very natural and it increases as the exams approach near. I used to talk to my family and friends during that time and it gave me a good relief. Taking short walks outside and listening to music also helped me a lot.”

Krrish Agarwal became the school Science topper with a whopping 97.2%. The non-medical student who aspires to become a successful IT engineer says, “Physics, Chemistry and Math were covered effectively while preparing for the JEE entrance and I have always had a good grasp on Computer Science, so I kept working on it simultaneously. As for English, I was confident in it and studied well and in-depth months before the CBSE Board exams.”
Krrish thanks his school teachers for their persistent guidance and support. He mentions, “My school teachers were extremely supportive. The teachers cleared all our doubts even beyond the school hours.” The Science topper also offered some insightful advice for the current class 12 student. He exclaimed, “We students get a complete year to prepare for the CBSE Board exams. All we have to do is to manage the time well, utilise the year effectively and learn from our mistakes during the year.”

Raghav Kapoor who scored an outstanding 97% speaks about his preparation regime. He mentions, “The NCERT exemplar is the base. I studied it thoroughly and whenever I had any doubts my school teachers were always there for me.” Further, he adds, “Among my subjects, I loved studying Math but English was a bit tough. Hence, I practiced many mock questions papers to strengthen myself in the subject.”
Raghav aims to pursue BMS i.e. Bachelor of Management Studies or BFIA i.e. Bachelor of Finance and Investment Analysis in a leading Delhi University college and asks the current class 12 batch to just focus on the present moment in order to keep exam stress and anxiety at bay.

Mugdha Chauhan bags a score of 96.8%, becoming the topper in the Humanities stream, explains about her exam preparation strategy. “I read the NCERT textbooks thoroughly to ensure that my basics were clear in all the subjects. My school teachers guided me throughout the year and I practiced lots of MCQs i.e. multiple choice questions as these constituted a big part of the question paper,” the achiever mentions.
She further adds, “My friend group was also very supportive. I was diagnosed with typhoid in the middle of the academic year and it became hard for me to cope with the progress. But my friends shared their notes with me and the school teachers held extra classes for me. I am truly indebted to them.”
Mugdha aspires to study International Relations in University of Delhi. She mentions, “My favourite subjects in class 12 were Economics, Political Science and Geography. The three of them together constitute International Relations and this is the discipline I plan to pursue in the future.”
Offering some crucial suggestions for the next CBSE Board batch, the humanities topper asserts, “Go with your flow! You know very well the areas you have to improve so focus on that and listen more to yourself!”
With such an excellent harvest of toppers, the school once again proves its commitment to its core philosophy of providing value-based education and creating nation builders through the education system.
