CBSE Class 12 Result 2024: Achievers attribute success to strategic study techniques

‘During exam preparation, my only mantra was ‘Study, study, eat, and repeat’

Akanksha Dhankar achieved an outstanding score of 94.4 per cent in the Science stream, securing the top position in her school. “I am happy as the feeling is as similar to my class X results when I topped therein too. The feeling is full of excitement and pride,” she shares and attributes her success to diligent nighttime study sessions, which enhanced her concentration levels. She acknowledged the pivotal role played by her teachers in her academic journey, expressing gratitude for their guidance and mentorship.

Akanksha excelled in Biology and Chemistry, scoring 97 and 95 respectively, reflecting her satisfaction with the results. Inspired by her achievements, she now aims to pursue MBBS with a focus on Gynaecology, driven by her passion for these subjects and her aspiration for a career in medicine. 

‘Do more mock tests, as it helps you know your weak points, if any’

Meet Himanshu Kundu, who achieved a remarkable 94.2 per cent in the science field in the CBSE class 12 results of 2024, emphasises the importance of regularly practising mock tests. He dedicated considerable effort to his studies, often studying late into the night. 

“Biology is my favourite subject and I achieved 97 marks in the same,” Himanshu shared. According to him, all his success is attributed to the unwavering support and guidance he has received from his teachers and parents, who played a pivotal role in motivating him during challenging times. At present, he is preparing to appear for the NEET exams.

‘I think in CBSE board exams, every subject is important and should be given proper time’

In CBSE Board exams, every subject holds equal importance and demands dedicated attention. Meet Harshita Bansal, the topper of the Commerce stream who scored 90.4 per cent. “My study strategy revolved around effective time management and subject allocation. With four major subjects, including two practicals and two theory-based subjects, I identified Math as my weakest area for which I dedicated more hours and scored 88 marks,” says Harshita.

To manage stress during CBSE Board exams, she balanced her studies with engaging in additional hobbies like drawing which helped him stay focused. 

The accomplishment of being the topper in the Commerce stream owes much to the unwavering support and encouragement from her teachers and family. “I am motivated to pursue a career in Chartered Accountancy (CA), aiming for continued success in Commerce,” Harshita shared.

The CBSE class 12 results have undoubtedly evoked extravagant enthusiasm amongst students and have boosted their self-esteem and confidence in their abilities.
