CBSE Class 10 Revaluation 2024: Application process now open

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the re-evaluation process for Class 10 and 12 students dissatisfied with their recently announced results. Students can apply online through cbse.gov.in or the Pariksha Sangam portal for mark verification, photocopies, and re-evaluation of their answer sheets.

For Class 10 students seeking verification of marks, the application deadline is May 24. Requests for photocopies of answer sheets can be made on June 4 and 5, and the re-evaluation process will commence on June 9. According to CBSE guidelines, candidates must first request and receive a photocopy of their assessed answer booklet to be eligible for re-evaluation.

To apply for the CBSE class 10 re-evaluation 2024, follow these steps:

  1. 1. Visit cbse.gov.in.
  2. 2. Click on the ‘Pariksha Sangam’ link.
  3. 3. On the redirected homepage, click ‘Continue’.
  4. 4. Navigate to the re-evaluation section by selecting Schools (Ganga), then School Digilocker and Post Exam Activities, and finally the Re-Checking and Re-Evaluation tab.
  5. 5. Click on ‘Apply verification Class 10’ on the new page.
  6. 6. Enter your roll number, school number, and centre number, then proceed.
  7. 7. Pay the required fee and submit your application.
  8. 8. Save a screenshot or bookmark the tab for future reference.

If there is a change in marks following re-evaluation, students must return their original marksheet and certificate to receive revised documents reflecting their new scores.

This year, the CBSE Class 10 results showed a pass rate of 93.6%, an improvement from last year’s 93.12%. Girls outperformed boys with a pass rate of 94.75% compared to 92.71% for boys. The pass rate for transgender students increased from 90% last year to 91.3% this year.
