These students have excelled academically demonstrating resilience, dedication, and strategic planning. In exclusive telephonic interviews, Ayushmaan Gupta, Sarthak Prasad, and Diksha Mehra share their journey, strategies for preparation, and valuable advice for future aspirants.

Ayushmaan Gupta: Achieving Excellence with Consistency and Parental Support
Ayushmaan Gupta scored an impressive 98.6% in the CBSE Class 10 Result 2024, reflecting his hard work and consistent efforts. Upon receiving his results, Ayushmaan felt a mix of excitement and disbelief, “I had to check twice to confirm the results,” he recalls. His meticulous preparation throughout the year, focusing on consistency and thorough understanding, played a crucial role in his success. “I maintained a diary for English with important words and phrases right from the start,” he explains, emphasising the importance of early and steady preparation.

Ayushmaan faced challenges, particularly with Social Science due to its extensive memorisation requirements. He tackled this by watching educational YouTube videos and making concise notes. Ayushmaan credits his teachers for their unwavering support, both academically and emotionally. “Their constant motivation pushed me to give my best,” he says. His advice to future students is to maintain a positive mindset and compete healthily with peers. Ayushmaan aspires to pursue PCM plus Computer Science in higher secondary and dreams of becoming an engineer and entrepreneur, aiming for the prestigious IITs.

A significant part of Ayushmaan’s success story is the support he received from his parents. “My main support system, the pillars I couldn’t have worked without, were my mother and father,” he shares. His parents followed his study schedule closely, ensuring he had the comfort and motivation needed to excel. “My mother woke up and slept at the same time as me, so I wouldn’t feel any discomfort or lack of support,” Ayushmaan recounts. This unwavering familial support played a crucial role in his academic achievements.

Sarthak Prasad: Harnessing Guidance and Hard Work
Sarthak Prasad achieved a remarkable 96.4% in the CBSE Class 10 Result 2024, a testament to his consistent hard work and strategic approach. “I was feeling good. I felt like my hard work, this is the result of my hard work that I did. The consistent hard work throughout the year, about on an average 4 to 5 hours every day,” Sarthak shared. His strategy centred on guidance from teachers and the use of sample papers provided by the school. “The Guru Mantra from the teachers was the basic key for my success. And moreover, some sample papers that were given by our school at the end moment proved to be very, very helpful,” he explained.

Initially, English was the toughest subject for Sarthak. “To be true, English was the toughest for me,” he admitted. He overcame this challenge by following his teacher’s guidance and dedicating extra time to the subject. “I used to follow the guidance that was given by my teacher and just try to improve myself by giving some time, 1 or 2 hours that I would be able to give,” he said.

Sarthak emphasised the importance of NCERT books in his preparation. “The most helpful study material is NCERT because the whole examination is based on NCERT only,” he noted. He also highlighted the crucial role of emotional support from teachers and parents. “Emotionally, sometimes we used to feel something tough. So our teachers and my parents guided me that it’s okay, you need to do it this way,” he shared. Sarthak plans to pursue the PCM stream with a focus on Electrical Engineering, aiming for IIT Bombay due to his deep interest in physics.

Diksha Mehra: Overcoming Challenges with Determination
Diksha Mehra achieved a commendable 95.8% in the CBSE Class 10 Result 2024, surpassing her initial struggles, particularly with Mathematics. “Maths was initially tough, but with persistent practice and my teacher’s motivation, I improved significantly,” she recounts. Diksha’s preparation strategy revolved around thorough practice and understanding, primarily focusing on NCERT materials. “NCERT is the key for CBSE exams,” she asserts, advising future students to avoid over-relying on multiple reference books.

Diksha strategised her revision plan by dividing her time efficiently. She acknowledges the crucial role of her teachers, especially in providing emotional support and additional practice materials. “My maths teacher’s support with extra sample papers was invaluable,” she says. Diksha plans to pursue the medical stream with a focus on neuroscience, aspiring to crack the NEET exam and carve out a successful career in the medical field.
