CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2025: ‘Start preparing at least 10 days in advance’

According to a Punjabi educator from Apeejay School, Rama Mandi students should practice mock tests thoroughly

The Class X Board Exam for the Punjabi language is scheduled for March 17, 2025. The question paper of Punjabi will be of 80 marks and 20 marks will be for internal assessment making a total of 100 marks. There will be a total of 16 questions in the Punjabi question paper. The paper will be further divided into four sections: 

Part-1 Reading Skills, 

Part-II Grammar, 

Part-III Effective Writing Skills and 

Part-IV Questions based on textbooks

According to Ms Parminderjeet Kaur, TGT, Punjabi at Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, shares a few tips that students should follow to achieve good results in the exam:

  •  First of all stay calm during your exams stay confident and relax.
  • Familiarise yourself with the exam format, marking scheme and time duration.
  • Read at least two essays and two letters every day for 10 days before the exam day.
  • There are a total of 16 lessons in both textbooks. Along with memorizing the questions and answers every day, the lessons should also be read thoroughly.
  • One or two-word questions and answers should be written and kept so that they can be used for quick revision.
  • At least five mock tests must be done so that you can know about proper time management. 
  • The Sahit Mala textbook is difficult to remember. Put extra time into it. The birth, parents, birthplace, and important works of the authors must be remembered.
  • Special attention should be paid to the ek kangi because, from them, big and small questions will be answered. Read it carefully. 
  • One grammar topic should be revised every day. Practice some reading 
  • compression passages too. 
  • There should be margins on both sides of the sheet.
  •  It is not necessary to write the question. You can write the answer by entering the question number.
  • All questions should be written section-wise and serial-wise. After finishing one section, the next section should be started.
  •  Two lines should be left blank after each answer.
  • When doing grammar MCQs, the answer should be written along with its option number.
  •  Underline the main points of the essays and letters with a pencil. You should highlight the main points in the question answers with a pencil too.
