The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct the Class 10th and 12th compartment exams starting Monday, July 15, 2024. The Class 12 supplementary exams for all subjects will be held today, while the Class 10 compartment exams will run from July 15 to July 22. Students must refer to the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in, for more information.

This year’s compartment exams aim to give another chance to students who did not qualify in one or two subjects in the CBSE exams 2024, allowing them to pass the academic session and save their academic year. However, students who failed in three or more subjects are not eligible to appear for the compartment exams. A total of 1,22,170 class XII students and 1,32,337 class X students fall under the compartment category this year.

To ensure a smooth examination process, students must adhere to several important guidelines:

  1. Admit Card: Students must carry their CBSE Class 10th and 12th compartment exam admit cards to the exam center. Entry will be denied without an admit card.
  2. Arrival Time: Students should arrive at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the exam starts to avoid any last-minute rush.
  3. Stationery: Borrowing stationery items is not permitted. Students should bring their own pens, pencils, erasers, and other necessary items.
  4. Fair Conduct: Students must not indulge in any unfair means during the examination. Any such behaviour can lead to disqualification.

Following these guidelines is crucial for a hassle-free exam experience. The CBSE supplementary exams provide a valuable opportunity for students to clear their subjects and continue their academic journey without delay.
