CBSE Board Result 2025: Success stories etched in effort, dedication and perseverance

The CBSE Class XII toppers of Apeejay School, Faridabad, Sector-15, have truly proven that hard work, dedication, and perseverance pave the way to success. Their remarkable achievements are a reflection of countless hours of focused study, unwavering determination, and the strong support system provided by their teachers and parents.

Meet Rishit Ahuja, Arush Mahajan and Aanchal Bhardwaj, who have scored 96.4%, 96% and 93.6% respectively in their Class XII CBSE Board exam.

Speaking about his preparation strategy, Rishit from the Science stream shared that it wasn’t a mean feat, “I didn’t follow any specific strategy for boards as my only focus was on competitive exams (JEE). However, school exams helped me in keeping my board’s preparation side by side, which I think was one of the reasons I was able to prepare for the exams smoothly in the last few days.”

While Aanchal from the Humanities stream asserted, “My preparation strategy was centred on consistency and smart planning. I focused on understanding the core concepts in each subject, which helped me retain information better and write more analytical answers. I divided the syllabus into manageable parts and made a revision schedule that I followed strictly. Solving previous years’ question papers and sample papers helped me understand the exam pattern and improve my writing speed. I also maintained short notes for quick revision before exams, which helped in the final stretch.”

Despite the academic pressure, these students remained committed to their goals and consistently pushed their limits.

“My study schedule was tailored to accommodate my night owl tendencies. I found that I was most productive in the evenings and early mornings, so I structured my study sessions accordingly. I would typically start my day with lighter tasks, saving the more demanding subjects for the late hours when my focus was at its peak. This allowed me to make the most of my preferred study times while still ensuring I covered all the necessary material,” explained Aanchal about her study routine.

While Rishit kept his preparation according to the exams, and prepared for them in whatever schedule he was comfortable with at that time.

So, how did they fare through the challenges faced during exam time?

“The most challenging part of the exam was a lack of clarity about the exam format, difficulty in balancing preparation with other commitments, and maintaining motivation and focus throughout the preparation journey. Amidst all of this, my teachers supported me in many ways, including by providing individualised instruction, encouraging critical thinking, fostering a love of learning, and building strong relationships,” explained Arush from the Commerce stream.

These achievers have already set their eyes on aspirational goals, as Aanchal wants to become a reputed lawyer, Rishit is planning to pursue his interest in technology, making their journey to excellence an inspiration to all, reminding us that with the right mindset and guidance, success is within reach.
