Mehakpreet Kaur, who scored 96.8% in CBSE Class 12 Board exams, feels incredibly rewarding to be the topper of her school. “For me, it’s not just about marks but about the journey — the countless hours of reading, analysing perspectives, and developing critical thinking. It validates the effort I’ve put into understanding subjects like Psychology, History, and Literature, which require not just memorisation but deep reflection. It also gives me confidence that I can take on academic challenges ahead, and it’s motivating to know that my passion and hard work have been recognised,” she shared.

She further shared, “I had put in consistent effort throughout the year. I was genuinely passionate about the subjects I studied, and I focused more on understanding concepts deeply rather than just memorising them. While I didn’t set a fixed number in my mind, I did aim high.”

Scoring 100/100 in Psychology and Painting, Mehakpreet’s preparation strategy for the exams was a mix of structured planning and mental resilience. “I made a practical study schedule, broke down the syllabus into smaller targets, and gave equal importance to revision and understanding concepts— especially in subjects like psychology and political science,” she said. The topper further mentioned, “I took regular breaks to avoid burnout, whether it was a short walk or just listening to music. What kept me going was reminding myself of my goals and taking things one day at a time.”

The topper’s future plans are centered around pursuing a career in psychology. “I’m deeply interested in understanding human behaviour, mental health, and how the mind works.”

The second star achiever from the school is Avni Vasisht who scored 96%. She has scored 100 out of 100 in Painting. Her achievement is a result of sheer dedication and hard work. “I was very excited to see my marks.” She went on to mention that she focused in classroom. “I paid attention during the classes and understood the chapters in the school itself. Then I would go home and revise thoroughly.”

The topper also added that solving sample papers and mock tests helped her. ” I also prepared notes, revised chapter wise and noted down my doubts topic by topic. I also reached out to my teachers for doubt clarification.

Priyanshi Chauhan secured 95.8% in the Class 12 Board exams, scoring 100/100 in Painting. The topper shared, “I didn’t use any reference books but I referred to NCERT for all the subjects.”

When asked about her preparation strategy, Priyanshi mentioned, “Proper schedule is necessary but I studied only when I could focus. I also created a checklist just a month before the exams.”

She further said, “When I could solve challenges, it kind of gave me motivation, while emphasising, “I didn’t take any tuition. Teachers helped in clearing doubts. I also solved a lot of sample question papers and took mock tests.”

Priyanshi who is aspiring to pursue Communication Design said when she felt pressured during the preparation process, she distressed herself by listening to music or going for a walk. “I also used to have talking sessions with my mother and friends.”
