The CBSE has announced the 2025 Board exam results, showcasing commendable student performance across the country. Students of Apeejay School, Kharghar, have done exceptionally well, with many achieving distinction and high overall percentages. Their outstanding results are a reflection of dedicated efforts by students, consistent support from teachers, and a nurturing academic environment that promotes excellence and all-around development.
Let’s read the experiences of the toppers of the school in Class X.
Aayam Makker, who scored 99.2%, shared, “I was honestly very excited and happy when I saw my marks. I didn’t expect such a great score, so it felt amazing. I’ve always enjoyed Math and Science, and I also found Artificial Intelligence interesting. I’m proud to have scored full marks in all of them,” he said, and added that he followed a more traditional approach but also explored different study techniques through YouTube and Google, and applied what worked for me.
“During regular school days, I mostly just completed my homework and didn’t study much beyond that. But as exams approached, I started studying around three hours a day. I didn’t rely on any particular tools or methods, but I made sure to take breaks — sometimes I’d go out and play badminton to refresh my mind,” Aayam shared and has chosen the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Math) stream for Grade 11 and plans to prepare for the JEE exam.
He gave enough credit to the school as he mentioned, “The teachers gave us useful tips and guidance. They made sure we understood the exam rules and supported us well throughout the process”.
Aashi Amit Gharat, scored 99%, shares, “I had expected a good score, but not this great! I was a bit unsure because I didn’t recheck my answers after the exam, so the result came as a pleasant surprise. Still, I had worked hard, so deep down I knew something like this was possible.” Biology is her favourite subject, and she justified this by scoring full marks! “I’ve chosen Science stream (PCB) in Class XI and plan to prepare for the NEET exam.”
After school, she would revise what was taught and then continue studying at home. The teaching at school was excellent, and regular revisions helped. During school days, she studied for four hours a day, and on weekends or holidays, she could stretch that to six hours. Aashi also practised past papers — particularly 2018 and 2024 for Math and Science — and reviewed recent years for other subjects.
“My tip for juniors: Don’t stress too much about the result. Enjoy the process of learning. It’s okay to have fun too — I took part in a few activities here and there, and it helped keep things balanced,” she added.
Bhavyaa H Vishwanathan, scoring 98.6%, mentioned, “I was in complete shock; I didn’t expect to score such great marks! My parents are extremely happy and proud of me.”
To manage my stress during exams, I often took short breaks and went for walks. Studying on my bed and receiving support from my friend, a relative, and a teacher made a difference. They helped me understand difficult topics, kept me motivated, and encouraged me to keep going, which helped me overcome exam pressure.
Bhavyaa usually studied in the evenings and dedicated around five hours daily to the preparation. “As for the future, I’m still exploring my options, but I do feel drawn toward science, particularly physics, and may consider pursuing that further,” she stated.
