CBSE Board Result 2025: Class X toppers suggest repetitive revision is the key to score well

As the CBSE results 2025 are out, students across the country are celebrating their performance in the Class X CBSE results. Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, shines brightly with three of its students scoring above 90%, showcasing the power of persistence and preparation. Apeejay Newsroom spoke to the toppers – Veer Zorawar Singh, Manvir Singh Phull, and Aekam Singh Rai – who shared their journeys, strategies, and plans for the future.

Veer Zorawar Singh – 93.8%

A topper with a calm confidence, Veer Zorawar Singh says, “It feels nice that all of my hard work has paid off. I have fulfilled what I wanted to achieve for a long time.” Veer believes in learning with intention rather than rigid study hours. “I used to pick one topic from each subject and study it throughout the day. Once done, I’d revise it repeatedly.”

Subjects like Social Science and Mathematics posed a challenge, but he tackled them with consistent practice and dedication. “It just requires constant effort,” he adds. Veer credits his success to his teachers and the school environment. “They were always there when I had doubts. The zone was very conducive to learning.”

Choosing the super medical stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics) in Class 11, Veer says it allows him to pursue both his passions. His highest marks came in Punjabi, his mother tongue. His advice to juniors: “Stay focused, keep grinding, but also enjoy the process.”

Manvir Singh Phull – 91.2%

For Manvir Singh Phull, topping Class X is a proud moment. “It feels amazing. My parents are very proud,” he says. Interestingly, Manvir didn’t follow a rigid study plan but ensured regularity. “I studied daily. That made the biggest difference.”

Science was his most challenging subject, especially after a dip in his pre-board marks. “But I overcame it with daily revision in the last two to three months.” Manvir also praises his teachers, saying, “They helped in even the smallest of doubts.”

He too has chosen the super medical stream to keep career options open. Scoring 99 in Punjabi, he says his grasp of the language came naturally. “It’s my mother tongue, so it wasn’t difficult.” His message: consistent study and the right environment are key.

Aekam Singh Rai – 90.8%

“It feels good to see my year-long efforts rewarded,” says Aekam Singh Rai. He relied more on self-study and online resources. “I didn’t follow a timetable a such but I prepared my own notes.”

Aekam found math and science to be the most challenging but overcame them through
self-discipline. “My teachers were very helpful, always available for extra classes and
doubt-solving.”

He plans to pursue the non-medical stream, aiming for a career in computer science engineering. “I scored 97 in Information Technology. Tech comes naturally to me.” While he hasn’t begun formal preparation for competitive exams yet, he plans to prepare through the DASA route.
