CBSE Board Exam 2026: Admit cards released

Published

on

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit cards for the Class 10 and Class 12 Boards 2026. The exams for both classes are scheduled to begin on February 17 2026. Admit cards are mandatory documents that students must carry to the exam centre to be allowed entry and appear for the exams.

As per CBSE norms, admit cards are not directly available to students online. In CBSE-affiliated schools, hall tickets are downloaded by school authorities through the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in, and subsequently distributed to students after verification.

To download the admit cards, school officials need to visit the CBSE website, click on the admit card link available on the homepage, log in using the required user ID and password, and download the hall tickets. Schools are advised to take printouts of the admit cards and ensure all details are accurate before issuing them to students.

The CBSE admit card 2026 contains essential information like the student’s name, roll number, school number, examination centre number, photograph, subjects along with their codes, exam dates, admit card ID, date of birth, and exam name. It also mentions the name and complete address of the exam centre and includes important exam-day instructions that candidates must strictly follow.

The 2026 Board exams mark a significant change for Class 10 students, as CBSE will conduct the exams twice in a single academic year. The first phase will be held from February 17 to March 10, 2026, while the second optional phase is scheduled from May 15 to June 1, 2026.
