The CBSE board exams for 2025 are set to begin on February 15. Keeping in mind competitive exams like JEE Mains and NEET, CBSE has carefully designed the exam schedule. Here are the important dates:

Class 10 Board Exams: February 15 – March 18, 2025

This year, CBSE released the exam timetable 86 days in advance, giving students ample time to prepare effectively.

CBSE has introduced several reforms this year to enhance the examination experience:

Fewer Short & Long Answer Questions: The new pattern emphasizes analytical and critical thinking rather than rote memorization.

Higher Internal Assessment Weightage: Internal assessments now account for 40% of total marks, while board exams contribute 60%.

Mandatory 75% Attendance Rule: Students must maintain at least 75% attendance to appear for the exams. Exceptions will be made for illness, extracurricular participation, or valid reasons.

CCTV Surveillance in Exam Halls: To ensure transparency and security, all exam halls will be monitored with CCTV cameras.

With these changes, CBSE aims to improve the overall examination process while making it more student-friendly. Students are advised to download their admit cards promptly and ensure they meet the attendance requirements to avoid last-minute hassles.
