The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) closed the data correction window for the Class 10 and 12 Board Exam 2026. Schools affiliated with the Board must ensure that all student details are accurate and verified before submitting the final data through the official portal, cbse.gov.in.
The correction facility, which opened on October 13, provided schools with the opportunity to review and rectify any discrepancies in the registration data of students appearing for the upcoming Board exams. According to CBSE guidelines, no further corrections will be accepted after the deadline.
The Board had issued a reminder urging schools to meticulously cross-check all details with official documents such as birth certificates, school admission records, or passports. Parents had also been advised to ensure that names are entered in full form, avoiding the use of initials, to prevent inconsistencies.
CBSE has emphasised that the accuracy of the data submitted through the List of Candidates (LOC) portal is crucial, as it forms the basis for generating admit cards, mark sheets, and certificates. Any errors at this stage may result in complications during the result declaration or future admission processes.
Schools were therefore advised not to wait until the last minute and to complete the verification process promptly. For additional information and official updates, institutes can visit the CBSE’s official website.
