A school is far more than a centre for academic learning; it serves as the cornerstone for holistic growth and personal development. Within its nurturing environment, Vishesh Mittal of Class XII has acquired knowledge, sharpened critical thinking, and cultivated essential life skills like discipline, resilience, and collaboration. This Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, student shares how he got the chance to harmoniously blend academics, extracurricular pursuits, and values-based education here.
What’s your biggest takeaway from this school?
My biggest takeaway is the strong foundation of values, discipline, and confidence it has given me. Along with academics, the school taught me responsibility, leadership, teamwork, and respect for others, which have shaped my personality and prepared me to face future challenges with clarity and courage.

Which stream have you taken, and what are your plans?
I opted for the Commerce stream in Classes XI as it matched my interest and aptitude. My plan is to pursue higher education in a professional field and also pursue chartered accountancy and enhance my skills and build a successful career while contributing positively to society using the knowledge and values imparted by my school.
How has the journey been so far?
My journey from nursery to Class XII has been enriching and memorable. The school provided a nurturing environment that encouraged learning, creativity, and self-growth. Every stage brought new experiences, friendships, and lessons that helped me evolve academically and personally.
What are your fondest places and activities at school?
Some of my fondest places at school include the classrooms, assembly ground, library, and playground, as they witnessed countless memories. Activities like morning assemblies, annual days, inter-house competitions, debates, cultural programmes, and sports events made school life lively and enjoyable, helping me develop confidence and teamwork.
Describe your bonds with teachers and other students here.
The bond I share with my teachers and classmates is truly special. Teachers were always approachable, supportive, and motivating, guiding us beyond textbooks. Friendships formed here are deep and meaningful, built on trust, shared experiences, and years of togetherness, making school feel like a second home.
What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when we say – Apeejay, Charkhi Dadri?
The first thing that comes to my mind is ‘second home’. It is not just a school but a place where I grew up, learnt important life values, discovered my strengths, and created unforgettable memories.
