She has been part of the Apeejay Education since nursery. Some of her fondest memories include art and sculpture periods, PT periods, school events, small competitions, and the warmth of her teachers. Participating in exhibitions, creative activities, and helping make props for school events from a very young age played a big role in shaping her interest in art. Meet Ayushi Kaushal, a Class XII student at Apeejay School, Noida.

In an impromptu interview, she shares the lessons and values that will stay with her the longest.

How have you grown as both a person and an artist during your years at the school?

I have grown not only in my skills but also in confidence. As an artist, I have learnt to observe more closely and express myself more clearly. As a person, the school has taught me discipline and responsibility. Everything I know about sculpture has been shaped here, and my teacher has guided me whenever I went wrong.

What does the school mean to you personally after spending so many formative years here?

Apeejay School is more than just a place of learning for me. It truly feels like a second home. It has been a constant presence throughout my life, shaping who I am today. The memories, friendships, and lessons I have gained here will always remain close to my heart.

What lessons or values from your journey do you think will stay with you the longest?

The confidence to believe in myself, the sense of responsibility towards my work, and the artistic techniques I have learnt will stay with me the longest. Apeejay School has taught me to approach challenges with dedication while continuously improving my skills. These lessons will guide me both as an artist and as an individual.

Any school moments that played a key role in shaping your interest in art?

The art and sculpture rooms and the guidance of my teacher played a crucial role. Her encouragement and trust motivated me to explore sculpture seriously. School projects helped me use my imagination and creativity, strengthening my interest in art.
