The investiture ceremony signifies an act of passing of the mantle. It reflects the faith and the confidence the school puts in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, the students pledge to fulfill their duties to the best of their capabilities. The school believes that this exercise will frame a responsible citizen of tomorrow.
Recently, Apeejay School, Saket solemnised the school investiture ceremony. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp amidst a soulful rendition of shlokas. Dr Sujeet Eric Masih,Principal of the school, reiterated the vision of the school in his address and welcomed the revered Chief Guest, Ms. Benita Mary Jaikar, Deputy Commissioner, South District, Delhi Police.

The former Head Boy and President of the Student Council also shared their experiences and expressed gratitude towards the teachers and school. This was followed by well-enunciated speeches by the newly elected Head Girl Matangi Mishra and Head Boy Dhruv Sharma.

Speaking at the ceremony, Matangi Mishra said, “I feel very grateful and all I can think of is how I can create a good impact and be a good leader. This session my key aim is to help others grow. It isn’t about ‘I’ but ‘We’ and so, I wish to support and help all the members of the prefectorial board in achieving their goals.”
The Principal administered the oath and conveyed his wishes to the fresh student leaders to accomplish the duties and responsibilities entrusted to them for the year ahead.
The occasion proved to be an exhilarating moment for all the office bearers who were filled with zeal and zest to take up their duties. It was a proud moment for the parents to witness their wards being decorated with batches, as they embarked on a new journey as promising leaders of today.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the senior curriculum coordinator, Ms. Ritesh Sharma.
