Acknowledging the importance of mental well-being and stress management among students, Apeejay School of Management (ASM), Dwarka hosted a session on the same topic. As part of the Mentoring Program for the PGDM 2025–2027 batch, the session aimed to create awareness about mental health, emotional resilience, and effective stress-management techniques essential for both academic and professional success.

The session was facilitated by Ms. Priyamvada Puri, a Certified Mindfulness and Communication Coach from Happtitde, and Ms. Priyanka Sagar Maheshwari, Founder and Facilitator of “Do More Be More” and a Storytelling Practitioner. Both speakers brought rich experiential insights and interactive methodologies that kept students actively engaged throughout the session.

Ms. Priyamvada Puri focused on the importance of mindfulness in managing stress, enhancing self-awareness, and improving emotional regulation. Through practical exercises such as mindful breathing and reflective pauses, she helped participants understand how small, consistent practices can significantly reduce anxiety and improve focus.

Ms. Priyanka Sagar Maheshwari used the powerful medium of storytelling to help students explore emotions, personal challenges, and self-beliefs. Her session emphasized reframing negative thought patterns, building inner strength, and developing a growth-oriented mindset. Real-life examples and interactive discussions enabled students to connect deeply with the concepts shared.

The session was highly impactful and well-received by the participants. It encouraged students to prioritise mental well-being, adopt healthier coping strategies, and approach challenges with confidence and clarity. Overall, the session was a valuable addition to the mentoring program and contributed meaningfully to the holistic development of the PGDM students.

Dr. Pooja Chaturvedi Sharma highlighted that such well-being sessions are essential in today’s high-pressure academic environment. She emphasized that mentoring must go beyond academics to address emotional resilience, stress coping mechanisms, and self-awareness, enabling students to grow holistically and handle future professional challenges effectively.

Shreya Vishwakarma (PGDM First Year) shared that the session helped her practically understand stress. She found the mindfulness activities and storytelling exercises engaging and relatable, providing simple techniques to manage pressure, stay focused, and maintain emotional balance during her academic journey.
